President/Senior Project Manager
James Chillcott
As Advoca co-founder and President, James Chillcott provides long-term planning, vision, process theory and business development strategy for the entire Advoca Team. Former President of the Pulse New Media group at the University of Toronto, James has overseen the design and development of over 500 web projects since 1997. Together with co-founder Jordan Klassen, Mr. Chillcott invented the NapCameBack software that made global headlines in 2001. Before entering the design and development sphere, James enjoyed various roles in product development and marketing. Our leader holds a business degree from the University of Toronto and can often be found engaged in various death-defying activities in his off-hours.
Chief Technology Officer
Jordan Klassen
The other half of the brain trust that brought Advoca to life, co-founder Jordan Klassen is an expert web designer, programmer and web visionary. Former Director of Web Design and Development at the University of Toronto based Pulse New Media group, Jordan is currently working on development of new e-business models for the benefit of the global community. An avid adventurer and snow maverick, Jordan holds a business degree from the University of Toronto, along with numerous technical credits.
Business Development Manager
Theresa Konowalec
As head of the Advoca Business Development team Theresa has played a pivotal role in the development of Advoca's "zero-pressure sales" process, and is a leading advocate of partnership-based design and development solutions provision. Before joining the Advoca team Theresa enjoyed roles in retail marketing, technology sales, branding and merchandising. Theresa holds a Business degree from the University of Alberta and has an avid interest in Yoga and Pilates.
Project Manager/Business Development
Mark Hare
Mark is Advoca's white label partnership specialist, focusing on outbound
sales initiatives and outsourcing partnerships with appropriate horizontal and vertical markets. Before joining Advoca Mark spearheaded business development strategy from within a variety of companies ranging from civil engineering to surgical equipment distribution. Mark holds a degree from Brock University and a post graduate diploma from Niagara College.
Programming Team
Advoca employs a world-class talent pool of programming mavericks with broad expertise and experience across all relevant web development technologies. Though we greatly value the dedication, service and innovation that our staff bring to the Advoca team we choose not list to their names here as an anti head-hunting technique.
